Hailing from the Levantine region this is a typical centerpiece during many festivals. In my version, a tender semolina cake that’s nut-free and drenched in a cardamom, orange juice and orange blossom syrup and finished with candied oranges. Think “Sheera” in a less sweet cake form?!
